We don’t have a store in Thyolo. But a lot of the people who shop in our Limbe stores call it home — so we figured, why wait for them to come to us?

We headed to the postnatal ward at Thyolo District Hospital, gave it a proper clean, and packed care into the things that matter most in those first weeks; chitenge, baby nappies, snappy fastener and bars of soap. The small stuff that gets a new family through.

Mums are a big part of who we serve, and this was our way of saying thank you — and welcome to the babies just arriving. We left the ward a little brighter, and the mothers and staff a little more encouraged. Because at PEP, looking after our communities is how we look after the future.
